Fried Chicken Buffet Bethany Community Church Fried Chicken Buffet will be held at Gumboro Community Center on Saturday, March 14 from 2 to 6 p.m. Cost is $12 for adults, $6 for ages 12 and under. Lenten Fish Dinners Lenten Fish Dinners will be served every Friday during the Lenten season in the Parish Hall of Our Lady of Lourdes Church on Stein Highway in Seaford. Dinner dates are Feb. 27, March 6, 13, 20 and 27. Dinner is your choice of baked, breaded flounder or vegetable lasagna. Each entre includes sides, homemade soup and coleslaw, rolls, drinks, and homemade desserts. Cost is $9 for adults and $5 for children under age 10. Proceeds will benefit the annual scholarship fund.

Choir Concert at Mt. Calvary Greater Mt. Calvary Choir Concert featuring Union Baptist Mass Choir of Easton, Md., will be held at Mt. Calvary AME Concord in Seaford at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 1. The event is sponsored by the Men of Mt. Calvary.

Annual Purity Event Seaford Wesleyan Church (The Ark) will hold their 3rd Annual Purity Event, Princess, Daughter of a Heavenly King, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 14. This event is free for girls ages 12 and up who would like to take a vow of purity or renew their vow. This is a wonderful opportunity to share what Gods plans are for their life. Chicken and Dumpling Dinner The next Woodland United Methodist Church Chicken and Dumpling dinner is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 21.

Rainbows for Children St. Johns United Methodist Church, located at 300 N. Pine St., Seaford, will be offering Rainbows for Children starting March 1 in the Wesley Lounge. This is a 13 week volunteer program to assist children coping with loss due to divorce, death, deployment or separation. Due to the nature of the program, preregistration is required at 629-9466. Children ages 5-8 and parents are invited to join the church for an introductory 30 to 40 minute session.

Beef and Dumplings Dinner Concord United Methodist Church will have a Beef and Dumplings Dinner on Saturday, March 14, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Community House. Menu includes beef and dumplings, homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, handmade cole slaw, applesauce, rolls and butter, beverages, and assorted cakes for dessert.
