Singing at Delmar First Baptist The Delmar First Baptist Church, Delmar, Md., will hold a gospel concert at 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, with the Itzel Family Singers. Join us for a time of corporate worship and a sing-along with the Itzels. There will be a time of fellowship and refreshments after the singing. Griefshare at St. John's UMC Griefshare is being offered by St. John's United Methodist Church, 300 N. Pine St., Seaford, on Sunday, March 8 from 4-5:30 p.m. in the Wesley Lounge. The Challenges of Grief will present the overlooked yet common effects grief has on the mind, body and spirit. Gospel Cafe celebrates 10 years The Gospel Cafe will celebrate its 10th Anniversary at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, at Christ Evangelistic Church in Laurel. Special guests include the Delmarva Jamaican Mission Team. Dinner by Marilyn's Catering will be at 5 p.m. Cost is $10 per person. Open Mic Christian Night Open Mic Christian Night sponsored by Compassionate Shepherd Ministries will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, March 6, at The Lighthouse Church in Laurel. Connie and Allen Reustle and Wilson Sturgis will host and sing. Singers also include Bill and Jean Crater, Kenny Doughty and many more. This will be a full night of gospel and praising. Shopping trip to Jersey Gardens Power in Praise Ministries in Harrington is sponsoring a shopping trip to The Mills at Jersey Gardens in Elizabeth, N.J., on Saturday, March 28. The bus will depart from Food Lion in Bridgeville at 6:15 a.m. and return at 7:45 p.m. There will be additional stops for drop off and pick up in Harrington, Dover and New Castle. You will be able to shop from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $40 per person. Seating is limited and will be first come, first served. Purity Banquet Seaford Wesleyan Church (The Ark) will hold their 3rd annual Purity event at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 14. This year's theme is "Princess, Daughter of a Heavenly King." This event is free for girls age 12 and up who would like to take a vow of purity or renew their vow. It is a wonderful opportunity to share what God's plans are for their life. Events at Snethen UMC Snethen UMC will hold a spaghetti dinner on Friday, March 13 from 5-7:30 p.m. Adults are $8, children 12 & under are $3. Includes beverage, salad, bread, spaghetti and dessert. The church will host The Browders, national Southern Gospel recording artists from Hiltons, Va., at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 27. A love offering will be taken and refreshments will follow.
