'Blessing of the Bikers' On Sunday, May 17 at 10 a.m. Bethel United Methodist Church at Oak Grove will hold a "Blessing of the Bikers" service to honor all motorcyclists. Owners and riders are invited to cruise on their bikes to 2381 Neals School Road in Seaford for the blessing by Pastor Charles Kind. Light refreshments will be served after the service.

Griefshare at St. John's UMC Griefshare is being offered by St. John's United Methodist Church, 300 N. Pine St., Seaford, on Sunday, May 10 from 4-5:30 p.m. in the Wesley Lounge. The Lessons of Grief include the overlooked reason that grief is so painful. If you are living with grief, we invite you to join us for the 13 week non-denominational journey, From Mourning to Joy. Spring Concert at Old Christ Church The Board of Directors of Old Christ Church League will present a Spring Concert at Old Christ Church on Sunday, May 17 at 3 p.m. The Southern Delaware Chorale Ensemble, featuring three vocal soloists and a young pianist, will perform a variety of vocal music. This is a beautiful time of year on the shore of Chipman's Pond, so come join us for a relaxing hour of beautiful music. Admission is free, but a voluntary offering will be taken for the preservation and restoration of Old Christ Church. Everyone is welcome.

Open Mic Christian Night Open Mic Christian Night, sponsored by Compassionate Shepherd Ministries, will be held on Friday, May 15 from 7-9 p.m. at The Lighthouse Church in Laurel. Annual Women's Day John Wesley UMC Third and Chandler Sts. Seaford is holding their annual women's day on Sunday, May 17th at 3:30. The theme for the occasion is "Women of God, let the Glory of the Lord rise among us!" 2 Chronicles 7:1-3. Rev. Janice Nichols Austin of the Worship Christian Center in Camden, DE will deliver the sermon and the Nichols Sisters will be in song. Dinner will be served immediately following the service.

Financial Peace University Atlanta Road Alliance Church, 22625 Atlanta Rd., Seaford, will offer Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University (FPU) on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. beginning June 3. FPU is a biblically-based curriculum that teaches people how to handle money through God's ways.

Gospel concert at Delmar First Baptist Delmar First Baptist Church, Delmar, Md., will hold a gospel concert featuring the Delmarva Ramblers at 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 17. Ice Cream Sale at Mt. Zion Mt. Zion Methodist Church located on Rt. 13A between Seaford and Laurel will host an ice cream sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 16. Flavors include vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, banana, and pineapple. Pre-orders are encouraged but not required and may be placed by calling 875-3055 or 629-7110.

Anniversary celebration Ross Point Freedom Church will celebrate the pastor's sixth anniversary at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 17. Guest preacher will be Pastor Helena Bailey of Kingdom Family Life Ministries, Millsboro. Host pastor is the Rev. Shirley M. Caldwell. Memorial Day Gospel Concert A Memorial Day Gospel Concert hosted by Faith Fellowship Church will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, May 25, at the Federalsburg Marina Park Pavilion in Federalsburg, Md. Featured artists will include Kingdom Sounds, God's Country Crossroads and Judy Laramore. Bring a chair and a friend. Concessions will be available and a love offering will be received.

Prayer Breakfast The Kiwanis Club of Delmar will hold their annual Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, May 9 starting at 9 a.m. in Camelot Hall at St. Stephens United Methodist Church. The Rev. Kenneth Athey will deliver the message and the choir of First Baptist Church will furnish the music. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased from Kiwanis members or at the door.

Reunion Quartet in concert Reunion Quartet from Princess Anne, Md., will be at Todds Chapel at 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, to share their southern gospel music ministry. The church is located at 102 Todds Chapel Rd., Greenwood. All are invited to attend.

Spring Extravaganza Yard Sale Stop by "Old Bohemia" Saint Francis Xavier Shrine on Saturday, May 9, to find a huge assortment of items priced to sell quickly.
