Benefit Concert for the Ace Center
A Benefit Concert for the Ace Center will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, at Stein Highway Church of God, 425 E. Stein Hwy., Seaford. Gospel artists, "Homeland Singers," Jerry Jones and Christopher Baltz will share their gospel music. Everyone is welcome and admission is free. A love offering will be taken to benefit the Ace Center in Seaford which provides housing, food, education, job training, transportation, and job location services.
Clarence Street Church of God will host its 11th Annual Community Day on Saturday, May 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is a free event and the community is welcome. Join us for food, fun, games, prizes and entertainment. See classic cars, enjoy safety demonstrations and speak with civic/health representatives. Bring your own lawn chair. Griefshare at St. John's UMC
Griefshare is being offered by St. John's United Methodist Church, 300 N. Pine St., Seaford, on Sunday, May 17 from 4-5:30 p.m. in the Wesley Lounge. No one grieves perfectly and grief teaches us about our relationships since the loved one is gone. Hymn Sing at Concord UMC
A Hymn Sing will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, at Concord United Methodist Church near Seaford. The public is invited to come and enjoy Gloria Holland of Georgetown as well as The Precious Memories Gospel Band, which consists of vocalists and musicians from Milford, Seaford, Laurel, and other areas of Sussex County.
