Benefit Concert: Harvest Party Bethel Worship Center of Seaford will hold a Benefit Concert: Harvest Party on Saturday, Oct. 31 from 6-9 p.m. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Dinner option includes hot dogs, baked beans, chips, sodas, water & coffee for $3 and soda for $1. Chicken and Dumpling Dinner The women of Woodland United Methodist Church, 5123 Woodland Church Rd., Seaford, will serve a Chicken and Dumpling Dinner at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Cost is $10; children ages 6-12, $5; 5 and under, free. Woodland Church is located 4.5 miles west of Seaford next to the Woodland Ferry House. No carry-outs. Griefshare at St. John's Griefshare is being offered by St. John's United Methodist Church, 300 N. Pine St., Seaford, from 4-5:30 p.m. in the Wesley Lounge on Sunday, Oct. 18. Why" questions will be addressed and we will learn how God wants us to share our feelings with him. Surviving the Holidays seminar St. John's United Methodist Church, 300 N. Pine St., Seaford, will host Surviving the Holidays on Sunday, Nov. 22 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the Wesley Lounge. As you approach the holiday season after a loss, it is important to have a plan. Join us for this free seminar on how to survive the holiday season after experiencing a loss. Homecoming at Providence UMC Homecoming at Providence United Methodist Church, 24969 Shortly Rd., Georgetown, has been rescheduled for Sunday, Oct. 25, at 2 p.m. Guest speaker will be Pastor Joe Roszin. Special music will be presented by gospel singers, Jerry and Jeannie Jones.

Hymn Sing at St. Paul's St. Paul's UMC Church welcomes the community to a Hymn Sing featuring Reunion, a local men's Southern Gospel group with traditional four part harmony, on Sunday, Oct. 25. Bonfire/Harvest Get Together Abundant Life Christian Church is hosting a Bonfire/Harvest Get Together on Friday, Oct. 23, starting at 6:30 p.m. This is a community event and all are welcome. Festivities include hot dogs, chili, s'mores, music, and games for the family. Bring a chair and come join us in fellowship and fun. We are located at the corner of Bethel and Seaford Road.

Open Mic Christian Night Open Mic Christian Night sponsored by Compassionate Shepherd Ministries will be held on Friday, Oct. 16 from 7-9 p.m. at The Lighthouse Church, 27225 Kaye Rd., Laurel.
