Benefit Concert

Bethel Worship Center located at 26648 Sussex Hwy., Seaford, will hold a benefit concert at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12. The concert will feature The Nedham's and a love offering will be taken. Movie Night

Join us for Movie Night at Abundant Life Christian Church in Laurel at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13. The movie is War Room. Everyone is welcome.

Men's Bible Study Group

A Men's Bible Study Group meets on Thursdays at 7 p.m. at Laurel Nazarene Church. This group is for men who enjoy reading and discussing God's word. The church is located at 100 Walnut St., Laurel.

Lenten Fish Dinners

Lenten Fish Dinners will be held every Friday from Feb. 12 through March 18, in the Our Lady of Lourdes parish hall on Stein Highway, Seaford, from 4:30-7 p.m.
The dinners will feature your choice of baked breaded flounder or vegetable lasagna, fresh vegetables, scalloped potatoes or baked mac and cheese, coleslaw, homemade soup, beverage and dessert. Dinners are $9 per person and $5 for children under 10.
Tickets are available from any member of the Knights of Columbus, at the church office (629-3591), or at the door.
Proceeds support the Josephine Gay Scholarship Fund to be awarded to a parish high school senior this spring.

Church opens at new location

Compassionate Shepherd Ministries has moved to their new location at 10771 N. Plaza Rd., Laurel (across from the Food Lion Shopping Plaza). New hours are: Sunday school - 9:30 a.m.; Sunday worship service - 11 a.m.; Ladies Bible School - Tuesdays at 10 a.m. and Wednesdays at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Homemade Easter Eggs

Homemade Easter Eggs are available through Christ Lutheran Church. Eggs are still $3.50 each and are available in peanut butter, butter cream, and coconut cream. To order, call 629-9755 or 629-3106.

Oyster Sandwich Sale

Oyster sandwiches will be for sale on Saturday, Feb. 20, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Concord United Methodist Church Community House. Hot dogs, homemade pies and cakes, and beverages will also be available. Concord UMC is located at 25322 Church Rd., just off Concord Rd. (Rt. 20 E), near Seaford. 'Surviving the Holidays'seminar

St. John's United Methodist Church in Seaford will host 'Surviving the Holidays' from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, in the Wesley Lounge. Holidays can include any special day in our memory which produce a sadness when we have to face the day without that special someone.

We will help you develop a plan for these special days to make it easier to cope. To register, call 629-9466 so we can plan a workbook for each attendee.

Randy Chang in concert

Enjoy an inspiring piano performance and testimonial by Randy Chang of Smyrna at Christ United Methodist Church, 510 S. Central Ave., Laurel, at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 21. Randy and his family are a bold tribute to the human spirit and the great things that can be accomplished by continued commitment and trust in Our Lord. The Chang's family story tells of challenges, struggles, and great joys as Randy lives with Down Syndrome, as well as being legally blind. In spite of these challenges, Randy has completed his college education, and been officially commissioned to ministry, as he serves nursing home residents with his piano selections and his testimony. Bring your family and friends to this free concert. Everyone is welcome.

Women's Prayer Breakfast

Annual Fashion Show

The Sussex Community Gospel Mass Choir Annual Fashion Show will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 13 at Church of God and Saints of Christ, 10016 Concord Rd., Seaford. Guest night in Salisbury

The Ocean Bay Chorus of Sweet Adelines International will hold a Guest Night on Tuesday, March 15 at 6:30 pm in the Wicomico Presbyterian Church, 127 Broad St., Salisbury.
Ocean Bay Chorus is a part of Sweet Adelines International, which is a highly respected world-wide vocal organization of women of all ages who are committed to advancing the musical art form of four-part harmony barbershop style.
