All You Can Eat Fish Fry Centenary United Methodist Church, 200 W. Market St., Laurel, will host an All You Can Eat Fish Fry sponsored by the Friendly Sunshine Class on Saturday, June 18 from 4-6:30 p.m. The menu includes fried fish, potato salad, green beans, coleslaw, applesauce, greens, cornbread and dessert. Cost is $12 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and free for kids under 6.

Open Mic Christian Night Open Mic Christian Night, Fun Night. Let's Make A Deal with many prizes and gifts to be handed out. Everybody has a chance to win. Many local singers and surprise guests will join us at Compassionate Shepherd Ministries, 10771 Sussex Hwy., across from Laurel Food Lion on Friday, June 17, from 7-9 pm. VBS at Centenary UMC Centenary United Methodist Church, Market & Poplar Sts., Laurel, will hold Good News Vacation Bible School on July 11-15 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. for ages Pre-K through 5th grade. Wacaster family coming to Delmar The Wacaster family from Florida will be ministering in music at the Delmar Church of God of Prophecy on June 19 at 11 a.m.. The Wacasters have won several Country Music Gospel Awards. The church is located on Route 13 and Dorothy Road. Everyone is welcome.

Mt. Olivet announces services for this month The following are Mt. Cave Quest VBS Cave Quest VBS will be held at Concord UM Church, 25322 Church Rd., east of Seaford, from June 20-24. At Cave Quest, kids will explore what it means to follow Jesus through dark times. Kids will participate in Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, dig into yummy treats, and experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures. Cave Quest is for kids from Pre-K (age 4) through 7th grade, and will run Monday through Friday from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Solid Rock Gospel Songfest The Solid Rock Gospel Songfest will be held at Victory Tabernacle Church of God, 28261 Seaford Rd., Laurel, on Saturday, June 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. Enjoy a night of gospel singing featuring Gloria Holland, Fran Vojacek, and the Baptist Boys. Annual Biker's Day On Saturday, June 18, Mount Hope UMC, 5521 Finchville Reliance Rd., Federalsburg, Md., will hold its 3rd annual Biker's Day from noon to 5 p.m. Trophies will be awarded at 3 p.m. for best sports, best touring and best show bike. A biker's service will follow. Pastor Rev. Curtis Davis of Phillips Baptist Church, Philadelphia, will preach.

Summer services at Old Christ Church The Board of Directors and the membership of Old Christ Church League announce the resumption of regular summer services at Old Christ Church, Laurel. Services are held on the first Sunday of each month at 10 a.m., June through September: July 3, Aug. 7, and Sept. 4. The Order of Worship is taken from an 18th century prayer book in use around the time Old Christ Church was built, 1771-1772. Step back in time when you cross the threshold into Old Christ Church; the church is not electrified and it may take a moment for your eyes to adjust to the shadows. Through the open windows you will see the trees, the church yard, and Chipmans Pond, much as they were in 1771. A voluntary offering will be taken for the preservation and restoration of Old Christ Church. All are welcome. For more information, call 875-3644.

Father's Day Dinner Concert Church of God and Saints of Christ, 10016 Concord Rd., Seaford, will hold a Father's Day Dinner Concert featuring the Sussex Community Gospel Mass Choir at 4 p.m. on Father's Day, Sunday, June 19. The menu will feature BBQ ribs, fried and baked chicken, honey baked ham, green beans, seasoned greens, macaroni and cheese, cabbage, baked beans, fresh brewed iced tea, punch and assorted desserts.
