Griefshare at St. Johns Griefshare is being offered by St. Johns United Methodist Church, 300 N. Pine St., Seaford, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the Wesley Lounge starting Sunday, Sept. 10. The question Is This Normal? will be discussed including the intensity and duration of emotions. Sandwich sale at Delmar Church of God of Prophecy is Sept. 9 There will be a sandwich sale on Saturday, Sept. 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Delmar Church of God of Prophecy, located at Route 13 North and Dorothy Road in Laurel (three miles north of the Maryland/Delaware state line). The sale will feature oyster sandwiches, crab cakes, soft crabs, chicken salad, baked goods, homemade ice cream, and more. There is also yard sale space available for $10 (call 443-235-5494). Sunday School at Mt. Olivet Sunday school classes at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church in downtown Seaford resume on Sept. 10.Several classes are offered for adults and youth and meet weekly 9:45-10:45 a.m. Everyone is welcome.

Outdoor Gospel Concert St. Georges United Methodist Church, 34894 St. George Rd., Delmar, will host an outdoor gospel concert featuring Irv Brumbley and his group on Saturday, Sept. 9. Bring your own lawn chair. The pre-concert begins at 4:30 p.m followed by the concert at 5. In the event of rain, the gospel concert will be held in the church. Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, desserts, soda and bottled water, etc., will be available to purchase. All are invited to attend.

Ross Point Freedom Church holds Family and Friends Day Ross Point Freedom Church, located at 10016 Concord Road in Seaford at the Church of God and Saints of Christ building, is celebrating its Eighth Family and Friends Day on Sunday, Sept. 10 at 3:30 p.m. The guest preacher is Bishop Jesse Abbott of New Dimension Ministries in Salisbury. Outdoor worship service Zoar United Methodist Church is having an outdoor worship service on Sunday, Sept. 17 at 10:15 a.m. in the historic grove where camp meetings were held 100 years ago. This year the worship will be lead by the Evans Family from Pocomoke, Maryland. The service will be followed by a pot luck picnic. Bring a dish to share at the picnic, and a lawn chair for the worship time. Zoar is located at 24463 Gravel Hill Road, Millsboro, DE 19966, Pastor Martha Callaway is the minister.
