A Ten Commandment supper There will be a Ten Commandment supper at John Wesley United Methodist Church on Saturday, Oct. 22, at St. Luke's Parish Hall, North and King streets, Seaford, at 5 p.m. The donation is $10 per adult and $5 per child. St. George's homecoming St. George's United Methodist Church, on St. George's Road between Delmar and Laurel, will be hosting a special homecoming service on Sunday, Oct. 9, at 2 p.m. Nancy Powell Pfister will be speaking. Special music will be provided by Buck and Sarah Burton of The Dave gospel group. The Diamond State Four barbershop quartet will offer music at the regular worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday school is scheduled at 9 a.m. Lunch will be served at noon.

Women's Day Conference The United Deliverance Bible Center in Laurel will have its 2005 Women's Day Conference, "Becoming Women of Excellence," Oct. 6-9. Special events are planned. The King's Daughter's Ball will take place on Saturday, Oct. 8, at 5 p.m. in the Catherine Camper multi-purpose building, 12108 County Seat Highway, Laurel. Evening services will take place at 7:30 on Oct. 6 and 7 at the center, 532 W. Seventh St., Laurel. The guest speaker will be Dr. Jackie London of Newburn, N.C. The final event will Women's Day Services on Sunday, Oct. 8, at 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the center with guest speaker Ruth Adams, a pastor from Pennsauken, N.J. Chapel homecoming There will be a homecoming service at Chaplain's Chapel, near Bridgeville, on Sunday, Oct. 9, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Bob Hudson of Millsboro will be the speaker. Special music will be provided and dinner will follow. For more information call Rosalie Hastings at 337-7446.

Annual Fall Bazaar Christ United Methodist Church, 510 South Central Avenue in Laurel, will hold its Annual Fall Bazaar on Friday, Oct. 14, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., carry-outs are available. There will be crafts, baked goods, a country store, and trash & treasure table. For additional information call 875-4233.

'God's Table' in Laurel "God's Table," sponsored by the Laurel Ministerial Association, has restarted for the season. A free meal is offered with a devotional service each Friday at 6 p.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church on Market Street in Laurel. Area churches share in the Friday evening meal and service.

Portsville UMC homecoming Portsville United Methodist Church, on Dogwood Lane, Portsville, will have its homecoming service, Sunday, Oct. 9, at 2 p.m. Music will be by Lights of Home and Julie Lewis. A dinner will follow the service. For more information call 875-2315.

Christian Diet Health Ministry The Delmar Christian Center will be hosting The Maker's Diet Health Ministry Team who will be presenting "The Maker's Diet Lecture" based on the national best selling book by Jordon S. Rubin, "The Maker's Diet," on Saturday, Oct. 22, at 6:30 p.m. The Delmar Christian Center is located at 107 East Sate St., in Delmar.
